More Movies up!
November 16, 2008 on 8:34 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsFrom Lumeralis, the movie company I helped start (and currently work at!).
Today, Lumeralis Digital debuts a series of exciting new projects. Our ongoing collaboration with the Tri-Valley Haven came to fruition with a screening at a downtown Livermore block party. The documentary format offers high production value, utilizing emotional interviews and professional filmmaking to attract capital investors for the Haven. Our growing event videography resumé offers a behind the scenes look at the Annual American Heart Association’s largest fundraiser. Illustrating the creative capability and ingenuity of Lumeralis is a music video for the final episode of Roy Solorio’s Moon and Back Chronicles, the story of a car turning half a million miles. Finally, several digital shorts, including New York City and 4th of July 2008, are now online.
Lumeralis at Film Fest with 3 movies!
April 23, 2008 on 5:55 pm | In Movie Release, Movies, Site News | No CommentsThe movie company I helped found had THREE movies in the CA Fest. Take a look below!
Lumeralis Digital contributed to three projects officially selected and recently screened at the 2008 California Independent Film
Festival.
“The Couple,” was directed by staff member Jason Ryder, Lumeralis Digitals’ head script writer, long time producer, and former rental proprietor. Our film partner Meredith Films screened “Lure,” which was produced, written, and directed by John Meredith. Deborah McQueen also screened “Hemp Hospital.” All three projects are available for high definition viewing here on the new web home of Lumeralis Digital. We are proud of the work of our staff and partners and the successful screenings at the film festival. If you would like your next film to be submitted and considered for a festival, take the first step towards achieving that remarkable goal and contact us today. Four new movies!
February 17, 2008 on 11:07 pm | In Cool Links, Movie Release, Movies | No CommentsThere are not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR new movies now online! After mad crazy amounts of editing on the new 8 Core tower, they are all online for you to consume. I even encoded HD versions! All for the price of none!

1. RED HQ - I got to go "somewhere near LA" and check out the inside of Red’s HQ, where the RED ONE camera was born. They showed us a couple of 4K movies, and offered hands on training with the camera and post software. It was insanely cool. In addition to that, I also went to Mexico, which has some interesting shots. Also check out the still images from the trip Right Here.
2. Cereal Bowl - I was invited to Tracy to shoot another one of Kelly’s crazy youth events, an all cereal all crazy gathering of sugar high proportions.
3. Macworld 2008 - My Macworld movie is now online, featuring the Macbook Air and the Modbook tablet notebook.
4. Deacon Dave’s 2008 - I shot some cool footage at Deacon Dave’s in Livermore over the Christmas holidays, which has now finally made its way online.

You can now get the book I helped work on! For a few months, I was the Technical Editor on "Adobe Flash CS3 Professional On Demand". I helped make sure the book was accurate with the new version of Adobe’s Flash software.

My First Renderfarm
May 28, 2007 on 4:13 pm | In Movies, Site News | No CommentsThe Lumeralis Renderfarm is up and Running! It’s name is LumarenderOne. Setting up a Render Farm allows for more than one computer to work on the same project or file at the same time, cutting down on the time it takes to complete the render. Check out the two screenshots of the renderfarm below. This was all made possible with Final Cut Studio 2!
